This 2-year-old male white boxer angel was rescued from the clutches of an animal hater who felt a stray dog was a nuisance and should be shot instead of rescued. He was severely malnourished and had a mark around his neck from being chained up for a long period of time. Halo craves human companionship more than anything and loves to give and get as many great big hugs as he can squeeze into one day. He is house trained and hardly ever barks. Halo is full of personality too. He howls when he wants attention or when he hears a song he likes on the stereo. He likes to carry his food bowl over to his bed and eat. Every now and then he manages to carry the whole bowl without spilling a drop, now that's talent! He prefers to be inside lounging on the bed or couch instead of chasing squirrels in the backyard. He is very well-behaved and will provide tons of unconditional love if given the opportunity. His foster mom calls him "by far, the best dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing."
