My name is Cane, but even though I only have three legs, I sure don't need a cane to get around! There's very little that a four-legged dog can do that I can't do just as well, including going in and out of a doggy door. I'm a boxer mix (as if you couldn't tell by my body and my tendency to wiggle when I'm happy!), and I'm a very sweet guy. Which is why I still don't understand my previous family abandoning me at a kennel. I thought we were all so happy, and now I'm devastated, and lonely, too. I know there is another family out there who will want me. I am house trained, and although I love being the center of attention, all I really want are lots of hugs. I do need to be in a home that does not have another male dog. Once you get to know me, I don't think you'll find a more perfect companion.
