Hi Friends! My name is Rockport Rocky, and I was rescued from a facility in the beautiful coastal town of Rockport, Texas. I was so cold on those concrete floors and very confused when my owner didn't show up to reclaim me. When the LSBR folks saved me on Thanksgiving, did I ever have a lot to be thankful for!
Okay, now I don't mean to brag but my foster mom says that I am the "easiest and sweetest rescue boxer" she has ever met and apparently, she has fostered quite a few. I am a good boy and beautiful too. I like my crate. I know how to sit. I get along with all dogs, horses and children. I may get along with cats too. I'm just a laid-back, happy-go-lucky guy.
The vet thinks I am about three years old. I am heartworm positive, but that’s OK, because all I need is a little treatment. Other than that, I am ready to go to a new family that will commit to love me forever.
