My name is Liberty or Libby for short! I'm about 3 years old and I only have three legs now. There's one important thing you need to know about me.....having three legs doesn't stop me from being a fun, active, young boxer girl!
When I came into the LSBR program, I had two broken legs. The vet thinks that I was hit by a car. Surgery was performed but due to the amount of time that had elapsed, my back leg would not heal properly so the decision was made to amputate my back leg. No worries here....heck, I don't even know that I'm missing a back leg. I run, play and act as though I have four legs!
I'm good with small and large dogs in my foster home and would do well elsewhere if introduced properly. I am crate trained and house broken and would love nothing more than to find that very special home that will take me in and love me unconditionally without worrying about my disability! I promise to love you unconditionally as well!
