You remember that song "Thank God I'm a country boy?" Well, let me just say that I'm thankful to be a city dog now. I lived that country life and unfortunately for me, I was just used to breed and then was left in a parking lot of a restaurant after my puppies were weaned. I'm not opposed to the country life, but I just want to be with a family that will treat me with love and respect and will keep me in the house. After all, isn't that where the family members sleep? I am very savvy around horses and cows. My rescuer and foster mom exposed me to her horse and to a cow, and they didn't interest me. I know how to act around those big critters. Come on! I'm a Cattle Dog after all. I am a little over a year old and love my crate. I'm house-trained and get along with all kinds of dogs and even cats. Actually, I'm great with cats. I also love kids. Gosh, I sound like the perfect dog. Hmmmm. Guess I am! My favorite thing to do is lie on my back next to my human friends and let them rub my tummy. I could do that forever. I like to play with toys, and when my foster mom fostered a chihuahua, I played so well with that little dog. She was fun. Did I mention my smarts yet? Yes, my IQ is quite high. It runs in our breed I believe. Spend a little time teaching me anything and I'll pick it up promptly. I am also eager to please. Anyway, enough about me. What about you? Can I join your family permanently? I'm ready to share all this love in me with my soul family.
