Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi! My name is "PipSqueak" or "Pip" for short. I am a young, female Chihuahua in search of a loving, fun forever home. I weigh just seven pounds, and my two favorite things are cuddling in your lap and playing. I was picked up as a stray by my foster mom and goodness, I was so scared. Cars were everywhere and everything was just so big. I'm safe now but hunger for my forever home and a family of my own.

I adore my foster mom's three-year-old daughter. She enjoys carrying me around the house, cuddling under the sheets and playing with me. I play great with the foster boxers in my house, especially the young female boxer. We have a great time stealing toys from each other and playing chase.

The vet and technicians are quite impressed with my easy-going personality. I guess we chihuahuas are notorious for not doing well with strangers, especially those that are trying to take our temperature, if you know what I mean. I don't mind at all. What's the big deal, I ask?

I am heartworm negative, about a year old, crate-trained, mostly house trained, vaccinated and spayed. I'm just a young, healthy, fun-loving, sweet gal looking to be your best friend. Won't you let me "show you the love"?
