Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Mariah, and just like the singer, I’ve certainly had my down times, but I feel like I’m going to be back on top of the world! I am 10 months old, and already I have been subjected to neglect and abuse. My leg is broken in two places, and the vet hopes he took care of it with a splint. (But isn’t that an awesome cast??) I am such a sweet girl, and I love people, dogs, cats and kids! I promise I won’t let this cast keep me from doing just about anything I want. And I hope you’ll show me what a loving home is really like. I think I deserve that, don’t you?
