Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi...they call me Moby but lately I've been pretty mopey!  I'm sad because my family is having to give me up due to medical issues.  I'm just a puppy at only 11 months old (but I'm a New Year's baby....I'll be one year old on 12/31).  My mom says I'm an excellent puppy.....I know basic commands and I'm pretty much housebroken.  I still have a little left to learn but I'm a fast learner! 

I do well with children and other dogs.  I love to play and have found that I really like shoes!  An old, worn out shoe will work just fine!

Giving me a new, loving home would turn me from 'mopey' back into Moby and put a spring in my step!
