Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Good golly, Miss Molly! That's just what the nice family said to me when they saved me from being shuffled off to a shelter. My owners were moving, and decided not to take me, and that's the only thing they thought they could do with me. I'm pretty sad about that, but thank goodness my foster family had some sense. And good hearts. I'm a bit over four years old, and I absolutely adore children my age or older. I have to say that I'm not that crazy about other dogs or cats, so please let me be the only pet in your home! I am house trained, and I really like my crate, especially at night. If I were singing that song, "My Favorite Things," I might add riding in the car, giving (and getting) kisses and sniffing out squirrels! I really want my own home again - one I can stay in forever.
