Kamie is a two-year-old, female fawn boxer who came into the LSBR organization at 6 months of age. She was covered with a bacterial skin infection, on top of having mange, and she was literally skin and bones. One of our volunteers took her home to nurse her back to health, as she was terrified being at the kennel. One and one-half years later Kamie is as healthy as can be, has a beautiful coat and is still living with her foster family, who had decided to keep her. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of fighting going on between the dogs in the household, and her family feels it would be best if she were placed in another home where she is the only pet (no cats or other dogs). Kamie is as sweet as they come and is very gentle with people she knows, but she needs continual help to build her self-confidence. She is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic commands. She loves to play with her toys and has the biggest wiggle dance her foster mom has ever seen a boxer do. Kamie will be a wonderful addition to any home!
